What is CafeMom?
CafeMom is the meeting place for moms, an online community where thousands of moms come together every day for conversation, advice, and to get to know other moms. The site is free to join and all moms and moms-to-be are welcome!What can I do on CafeMom?
You'll find moms chatting and having conversations on our CafeMom Groups by posting and replying to each other. Please feel free to join in!On our Talk Groups, you'll find moms hanging out and talking about whatever comes to mind!
You may enjoy a very large and diverse group like the Newcomers Club or you may prefer a smaller and more intimate group like The Lounge. There are a lot of great Groups to choose from and you can join as many as you like!
You can also find groups of moms who are similar to you!
There are Groups of moms who are your age or who have kids the same age as yours. You'll also find Groups of moms who have similar interests and lifestyles.
On our Advice Groups, you'll find information, advice, and support.
There are Groups on everything from Pregnancy and Health to Recipes and Relationships -- we've got Groups for every topic! Be sure to offer your own advice and opinions, too!
You can find recent conversations across all of our Groups by browsing through our Active Posts.
Once you start posting and replying on our Groups, you can follow up on your conversations using the links under the My Groups tab at the top of every page.
How do I start meeting other moms?
Join a Group and reach out!
As you you read posts and replies from other moms, join right in! You can reply to other moms who are posting (use the quote feature, too!) to let them know you're there -- share advice, share a laugh, and lend an ear. When you post, members will reply to you as well. Feel free to send members private messages and send out friend invitations to moms you'd like to get to know better, too.

How do I change my account settings?
The Account Settings option can be found under the "My Account" link in the top right corner of every page.
Use the tabs at the top of the Account Settings page to set up your profile, control your privacy settings, manage your groups, add signatures to your posts, and customize your account.
How do I ask questions?
You can get in touch with CafeMom and ask any questions that you have by clicking the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of every page on the site. You may also want to visit our FAQ page and our Help Desk for more tips on using CafeMom.
