    VP, Audience Targeting

    CafeMom's newly launched Athena Data Consortium & Audience Targeting group is looking for an energetic, analytical thinker to join our team! With Athena, we are creating a strategic gateway for top brands to reach the right audience with the right message at scale. We are currently seeking a highly qualified and experienced VP/Director of Audience Targeting with strong analytical, communication, and team-management skills to manage and grow our Audience Targeting business & team. The VP/Director works directly with the EVP of Sales Operations to set overall strategy & objectives and is responsible for translating them into actionable - and scalable - plans & processes. This individual manages the team responsible for quality delivery of all client campaigns and seamless cross-team execution. This includes the design, launch, monitoring, and optimization of each campaign.

      Responsibilities:
      • Define team goals/strategy and manage rollout of processes and overall workflow to achieve objectives
      • Effectively lead, mentor and grow team of Audience Managers and Analysts that manage digital display and pre-roll campaigns via real-time bidding/programmatic buying platforms, overseeing all aspects from start to finish - including strategy development, campaign set up/implementation, monitoring and reporting
      • Provide guidance and leadership to team in interpreting and applying analytics to optimize campaign performance for a variety of success metrics, such as CTR, CPC, CPA, viewability and in-demo
      • Integrate multiple data sources to provide cohesive campaign strategy recommendations based on client objectives and campaign performance/pacing
      • Lead technical projects that involve cross-team (data science, developers/programmers, marketing, and program analytics) participation
      • Develop cross-functional expertise in new ad-tech vendor platforms, audience segment classification (defining audience behaviors to target and finding predictive characteristics) and third party ad verification (brand safety, viewability and in-demo)

      Qualifications:
      • Bachelor's degree in quantitative field. Advanced degree preferred
      • 7+ years of experience in online advertising account management, marketing consulting and/or yield optimization
      • Experience managing high performing teams
      • Experience with marketing campaign design, campaign management, and analysis
      • Experience with optimization through a bid management platform such as a DSP and/or SEM preferred
      • Knowledge of the online media business and underlying technology and research
      • Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret patterns and translate into campaign strategies; Fluency in Excel and experience analyzing large data sets
      • Effective time management skills - ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
      • Self-starter with a natural curiosity and enthusiasm for learning
      • Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral
      • Familiarity with MediaMath's TerminalOne platform a plus

        Ad Optimization Manager

        We are looking for a solutions-oriented team member with familiarity with real-time bidding and programmatic buying. This person will be responsible for managing numerous digital ad campaigns as well as identifying & testing new strategies to drive optimal media performance for our advertisers.

          Research Manager

          CafeMom is looking for a Research Manager that will participate in the creation of research studies for advertiser programs, update monthly syndicated research reports, and develop ad hoc reports for management insight.

            Responsibilities:
            • Updating all comScore regularly issued monthly reports and sales collateral (PowerPoint slides) and fulfilling ad-hoc requests from the sales force and management
            • reating sales collateral based on syndicated and proprietary data
            • Monitoring and coordinating the implementation of proprietary and 3rd party research studies
            • And identifying and summarizing relevant industry research findings

            Requirements:
            • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, Communications, or related field
            • Minimum 3+ years of Web analytics experience
            • Experience analyzing comScore or Nielsen NetRating data
            • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
            • Some experience with survey writing and analysis
            • Familiarity with ad-effectiveness research methodologies and implementation
            • Very strong analytical skills

            Account Manager

            As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for supporting advertising deals and agency and client relationships for CafeMom, as well as taking a role in improving internal process and communication. Account Managers are the primary orchestrators and strategic overseers of all advertising partner program activity from deal confirmation through campaign conclusion. Responsibilities include running campaign kickoff calls, creating production timelines, tracking all internal and external deliverables to assure timely and accurate program launches, monitoring performance of all campaigns in progress, providing clients with campaign delivery reports, and recommending and implementing optimization plans as needed. This is a tremendous opportunity for an experienced Account Manager/Ad Service Executive looking for a dynamic role with a fast growing and evolving ad-supported website.

              Overall Role & Responsibilities:
              • Serve as primary external contact for clients and agencies from deal confirmation through post campaign wrap up/renewal
              • Plan and manage internal kickoff calls with appropriate implementation team members (Sales, Ad Operations, Client Solutions, Program Analytics, Product, Design, etc.)
              • Create detailed production timelines and kickoff call decks that explain all aspects of the campaign (campaign elements, ad placements and specs, responsible parties, etc.) so clients and agencies are clear on execution plan of the program
              • Plan and manage external kickoff calls with clients/agencies and appropriate implementation team members
              • Manage timely and accurate launch of all program elements
              • Establish internal and external tracking and reporting for all key campaign performance metrics
              • Monitor performance of all campaigns in progress against goals. Update sales lead regularly on status, flag any performance issues, and propose optimization plans
              • Assure optimization plans implemented internally and communicated externally to partner (client/agency)
              • Facilitate external campaign reporting, billing and payment questions
              • Assist Account Management Director in improving process and communication across all teams

              Required Skills & Competencies:
              • Four year BA/BS degree required
              • Minimum of 3 years hands-on digital account management experience at Internet publisher or Internet media buying agency
              • Prior client-facing project management experience required
              • A strong understanding of the digital online advertising space including understanding of campaign success metrics
              • Experience and/or knowledge of programmatic buying and audience retargeting a plus
              • Proficient in DFP, DSM and online ad serving tracking and reporting
              • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills

                Role & Responsibilities:
                • Help develop ETL and processing infrastructure for big data work flows
