Director of Human Resources
CafeMom is seeking a Director of Human Resources to head the HR department in its New York office. The ideal candidate is a solid generalist with 8 to 10 years experience. Experience in an online media or technology company or other related industry is preferred.
The Director of Human Resources is responsible for all HR functions for the Company, including recruiting, benefits administration, employee relations and communications, performance management, training and development. You will also play a role in creating programs and policies as well as establishing infrastructures that support our thriving culture and help us to grow. This is a sole contributor position. There is some administrative support. The HR Director is responsible for overseeing the work of the Office Manager.
This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and likes to help grow a company. The position reports to the SVP, Legal & Business Affairs.

Sales Positions

We are seeking aggressive AD SALES EXECUTIVES with existing relationships and a proven track record of closing new business and working with America's best brands. Drive online sales revenues and develop new business through your own network of contacts and prospecting. Must have a deep understanding of online ad sales and proven ability to close new business. CafeMom PHP/MySQL Developer
CafeMom is a LAMP-based site and we are always looking for great developers who can work within this architecture. To qualify, you must be expert with PHP and/or MySQL development, and have worked on other consumer-facing websites using this technology. We are looking for all levels - junior, mid-level, or senior candidates.

CafeMom Front-end Developer
One of CafeMom’s goals is to take Web 2.0 ideas and create simple, user-friendly versions. CafeMom eschews many complex interfaces and focuses on simplicity above all. CafeMom Product Manager
Product Management at CMI Marketing is a broad role. We are a looking for people who not only understand moms’ needs and visualize products that help meet those needs, but who also dig in, help work on coding pages, create designs or contribute in any number of ways. Ideal product management candidates will be happy to get their hands dirty and work on every phase on product development. You should feel as comfortable in code or Photoshop as you do in Word or Visio. Candidates must have experience working on consumer-facing websites.

CafeMom Community Manager
Join the community management team at CafeMom. Work behind the scenes to help us set policies about what is acceptable on CafeMom and enforce those policies. Be one of the voices of CafeMom and communicate directly with members.
Requires excellent writing skills, an ability to understand complex situations and make decisions on the fly. Prior experience in a community management role or customer service is a big plus.
This position has the potential to be full-time or part-time with a minimum requirement of 20 hours per week. We will consider splitting job hours between work-at-home and onsite time at CafeMom offices in New York City. Ability to work late-night hours or weekends is a plus.
