    Senior Editor, Que Mas

    CafeMom is seeking a creative and experienced Senior Editor for its vibrant lifestyle and entertainment bilingual content platform, Que Mas for MamasLatinas.com. This individual will be primarily responsible for working with a team of full time writers and a pool of regular freelancers to assign, approve, plan, edit and program original content published every day. We're looking for an experienced editor who is detail-oriented, has very strong knowledge of the Spanish language and takes pride in his/her immaculate editing skills.       Responsibilities:

      Content Lab Editor

      We're looking for an experienced editor to lead our sponsored editorial department in both producing and curating engaging, high-quality sponsored editorial content series in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. The ideal candidate can translate brand campaigns into creative editorial ideas that will resonate with Stir readers. This position reports to the Editorial Director and involves close collaboration with our sales, client solutions, and editorial teams. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker and energetic multi-tasker who can deliver high-quality editorial content.

        Overall Role & Responsibilities:
        • Manage multiple sponsored content campaigns from start to finish.
        • Liaise with other teams on pre-sales (RFPs) and development and coordinate with writers, editorial, marketing/social media, sales, and client solutions to deliver all sponsored campaign deliverables.
        • Manage writers to support all sponsored content campaigns. Develop and assign compelling, original, share-worthy content, give staff and freelance writers clear guidance on execution, and provide thorough editorial oversight.

        Sales Development Manager, CafeMom & MamásLatinas

        We are looking for an experienced, energetic, creative and solutions-oriented marketer to join our sales development team! This person will be responsible for developing inspiring, innovative and strategic digital marketing campaigns for top tier advertisers wanting to reach moms. Reports directly to VP Sales Development.

          Overall Role & Responsibilities:
          • Work under the direction of the VP of Sales Development to enhance and further develop the overall design of the CafeMom & MamásLatinas sales materials
          • Partner with front-line sales to conceptualize, write and present (internally & externally) strategic marketing proposals in response to Advertiser RFPs

          • Partner with internal teams (product, design, community, video etc.) to develop new, sellable products that align with our value prop; clearly translate complex, conceptual ideas into real products and sales materials
          • Aide in developing, managing and maintaining the CafeMom story through sales presentations and materials
          • Provide thought leadership about digital advertising, new platforms and technologies, emerging trends and more

          Required Skills & Competencies:
          • Minimum of 3 years' experience in online marketing/advertising, with a minimum of 2 years developing RFPs and marketing proposals

              Sr. Product Manager

              The Sr. Product Manager will assist in leading the development of products geared toward improving our current properties, along with working on new properties and extensions. We're looking for a forward-thinking person who has a strong knowledge of mobile and emerging web technologies and who uses data to inform product decisions. The ideal candidate would have experience with online communities and social platforms, would be extremely comfortable with various testing methods and employing data interpretation from a product development perspective. The Stir.com, CafeMom's popular entertainment and lifestyle site for women, is looking for an experienced Copy Editor to proofread all of our online editorial content. We need a detail-oriented person who can read lots of copy each day (50+ posts), can spot missing and/or misspelled words from a mile away, and has excellent grammar and punctuation skills. The ideal candidate will have that perfect mix of creative and operational -- be able to make sound editorial judgments on copy while also possessing strong organizational skills and a deadline-driven attitude to keep the Internet Content Trains moving. You won't be afraid to speak up when you see a headline that's not optimized or a paragraph that doesn't make sense. Reporting to the Managing Editor, the Copy Editor will keep up on the latest web style guidelines and have a basic understanding of SEO, HTML and technical language.
