    Community Director, MamasLatinas

    CafeMom, the #1 site on the internet for moms, is launching a bilingual online destination that will provide content and community specifically designed to meet the needs and interests of Latina moms. We are recruiting a highly-talented and motivated team to build and lead this ground-breaking platform which will connect, empower and celebrate millions of Hispanic moms.

    Community is at the core of the MamasLatinas site. Our goal is to bring millions of Latina moms of all acculturation levels together to join our 100s of groups and engage in conversation; to share and seek advice; to form long-lasting friendships; and to be empowered and entertained by culturally relevant content.

    We are looking for a dynamic Community Director to join our team and work directly with leading moms on the site - to help create and scale up MamasLatinas Groups such as Pregnant Moms, Single Moms, Mamas Mexicanas, Latin Recipes, etc.

    Responsibilities:
    • Lead strategy and own business metrics for Groups
    • Drive traffic and mom experience on Groups
    • Recruit, train and support leading moms on the site to serve as group owners, group mods, etc.
    • Serve as active participant in key groups - welcoming moms, connecting with users, making the group more vibrant and fun
    • Drive membership in key groups - working within and outside of MamasLatinas to promote the groups
    • Work with senior management, product teams, and marketing teams to improve mom experience and increase site traffic and engagement
    Experience:

    Content Editor/Copywriter - Client Solutions

    CafeMom is looking for an enthusiastic self-starter to both manage and create content for our ever-growing client list. This position entails copywriting promotional and advertorial copy for clients, editing copy from our contributors for sponsored client content, managing the relationships with our outside content contributors, and curating this content for programming on our site and for sharing with advertisers.

    Responsibilities:
    • Select content to feature and program selections via CMS
    • Write attention-grabbing headlines and promos
    • Write client-oriented forum posts, polls and advertorial copy with mom audience in mind
    • Identify best photos to show with content
    • Analyze click data to optimize content selections

    Executive Creative Director

    CafeMom is seeking an Executive Creative Director who will concept and oversee all design projects across the company including our websites, mobile, sponsorships, and promotional materials. The Executive Creative Director needs to balance strong creative vision with a detailed understanding of our audience and business goals. Constant innovation should be their focus as they work to make user experience great. The ideal candidate should have a passion for great, user-friendly designs that work as great as they look. Leading and motivating a team of designers, getting your hands dirty in the creative work, and collaborating with teams across the company will all be part of your day-to-day role. This is a senior-level role with significant creativity, leadership, and business sense required.

    Role & Responsibilities:
    • Oversee all design projects and drive CafeMom's creative vision for the brand
    • Work closely with the Product team to develop innovative, easy-to-use web and mobile designs for our mom audience
