At what ages do growth spurts normally occur?

I know it's different for all babies, but my son went through his last growth spurt at about 3 months. He'll be 5 months tomorrow. Around what age should I expect another one?

  • my baby is 6 months (in a few days) and I think she went thru a little spurt 2-3 weeks ago. Her sleeping habits were nuts, her eating routine was a mess. It got better for a few days- then a tooth sprouted! Back to miss grump:)

  • 2 weeks, 6 weeks, 12 weeks, 18 weeks, 24 weeks, and so on every six weeks. This is what the doctors have told me and i've noticed my daughter has one to the day every six weeks.

  • I find they come at about every 8 weeks for the first year and every 12 until age 2, then twice a year or so from then on out. At puberty it will increase again :)
