How come I can never find a turkey baster? Even outside the holiday season?

I am starting to get curious about this. I have never owned a turkey baster because stores always seem to be out of stock when I try to purchase one.

Can you fathom why? Is it my bad luck or what?

  • It must be bad luck, because I see them all the time. Target has a large utensil section, you should be able to find one there.

  • LOL.. I dunno. I know that Ace Hardware carried them, so I cannot imagine walmart or target wouldn't!

  • Kmart always has them - I should know, I had to straighten up the darn things one day when I worked there...LOL.
I never use one, though - too hard to clean thoroughly. I prefer a ladel or large, deep spoon to poor the drippings onto the bird/meat.

  • LOL I love your questions, so random xD

Have you tried Bed Bath & Beyond or a Pampered Chef store? Expensive I know, but they usually carry out of the ordinary stuff like that. Oh, and I think Target has a whole line of stuff that includes turkey basters in different colors xD

  • I have three in my van. My hubby, daughter and I use them as microphones while driving sometimes. We purchased cheap ones at Walmart I believe!

  • I have 2. I must have bought yours by mistake. I'm sorry. :(
