Midnight nausea

For the last 3 nights I have awakened with very bad nausea. It's almost the exact same time every night; 3:20 am.

I have to get up and drink some coke (or whatever else I have that is carbonated). After about 20 minutes it's gone and when I wake up in the morning I'm fine.

Any ideas what might be causing this? No, I'm not pregnant. I have no pain like I might with reflux. Just the really bad nausea.

  • My first thought would be acid reflux, but I suppose you would have some pain accompanying that. What about stress or issues with your gallbladder?
