I am in the Bay Area for one month. What would you do/visit while you were here? What would you suggest if you live here?

  • Assuming you haven't done these things yet, check out Lombard street, Alcatraz, Golden Gate Bridge park, and the Pacific (it's not far from there!).

  • There is so much to do and see in the Bay Area it's difficult to name them all....but, don't just stick to "the City". Go out to Point Reyes, Muir Woods, Sonoma County wine country (less commercial than Napa), but swing by Napa if you wish. If you have a few days, go to Yosemite. Go down to Carmel/ Monterey and do the scenic drive and go to the Aquarium in Monterey. Lake Tahoe is a few hours drive away. Go to the Gold Country, little wonderful towns.

In the City, the obvious, GG Bridge, Lombard Street, Pier 39, Fisherman's Wharf, Ghiradelli Square, Palace of Fine Arts, Legion of Honor, De Young Museum, Golden Gate Park, etc. There is lots to do and see.

    Enjoy your time.
