How tall is your 12 year old boy?

My 12 year old feels short because his 9 year old book buddy is taller than him. My son just turned 12 and is 5'0 and weighs about 80 pounds

  • My son had to go on growth hormone in 4th grade because he didn't grow or gain weight from the previous year. He is now 13 and is 5'2" and weighs about 107 lb. He is skinny as a rail and his appetite is bottomless. We took him to a pediatric endocrinologist who did some testing on him and it turned out he was growth hormone defficient. In 4th grade he was still wearing 5T clothes.

  • My son just turned 10 and is 4'9" and 78lbs. At least that's what he was last time I measured him. It's been awhile. I'm sure he'll be over 5' by the time he turns 12 (he's just about outgrown size 12 pants already so I have to start buying 14s for him). He's 5" taller than his 11yo sister (she's 4'4" and only 50lbs and will always be small for her age).
