what is the best (bigboy) food to start your child out on.

i am starting my 9 month olds on table food but dont know the best to use.

  • Give him some pasta. You can boil the pasta and lightly coat it w/ olive oil when it is done. Or try cooked vegetables. Green beans, cubed carrots.

  • Mac and Cheese and add pea's to it. You could try just steaming carrots.

  • I've always heard that the best thing to do is take the food you eat and put a bit of it in the blender and feed your baby that. Then later on it won't be such a struggle to get him to eat what you eat.

  • Now I know this question is not coming from a Dominican Mom. Arroz con habichuela. Le hecha mucha crema de habichuela.

    Quiara use to love mash potato with boiled egg mashed together.

    Its always good to start them off with stuff thats easy to mash.
