  • I just started with my 3rd son and he is just about 8 months, but he is breastfed. It all depends on the child. I started around 6 months with my first son, but he also had teeth by 5 months. Use your own judgement. I am sure you will know when baby is ready!!

  • My first was started at about 8 months. Second was later, she had no teeth till she was 10 months and didn't show any signs of chewing. My 3rd is eating dried fruit and baby cookies and cooked pieces of veggies.

  • 6 months.

They don't need teeth. They don't chew with their front teeth anyway so unless you're not going to give any food until they get their first year molars.......

I looked at it that they could (with practice lol) eat anything my toothless grandma ate....

  • We started Johnathanst 6months as well. He will be 10 months on the 16th and he is now on table foods. He will not touch baby food. lol.

However, my cousin's baby is 11 days older than him and she is still on stage 1's and some stage 2's.

I think it all depends on your baby and what they want and are ready for.
