• Are you just serving chili? If you figure each serving is about 1 1/2 - 2 cups per person your going to need about 200 cups of chili which equal to 50 quarts. That;s a lot of chili!!!

• I'll take on cup. Others might want seconds. How many assistants do you have. That seems a lot of work!

• It all depends on what else are you serving along side.... is that the ONLY dish or do you have other foods. People will try a bit of everything. If there is ONLY chillie go with 1.5 cups per person if there are at least 2 to 3 other main dishes go with .75 cups per person. Keep a LOT of sides which will make serving the chilli interesting... grated cheese, sour cream, chopped onions, tomatoes, parsley, coriander, sweet and hot peppers. Adding chips, bread, pasta will work towards reducing the amount of chilli consumption. Enjoy!!

Will there be other side dishes? If you had veggie trays, corn bread and toppings for the chili you might not need to make quite as much.
