Did anyone else's Butt & hips shrink after giving birth?!?

Ok so i'm in no way trying to brag but before i got pregnant, i had a really nice "coke bottle" shaped body. I had a really nice (tight) tummy with nice sized hips & a cute "bubble butt." lol Everyone would always compliment me & talk about how nice my body was & how envious they were. When i got pregnant, my boobs grew 2 cup sizes, my hips got a little wider & my butt grew as well. Not gonna lie... i was LOVING the new assests, lol I felt sexy throughout my entire pregnancy. I didnt gain too much wait (20lbs) & i was sooo happy with my body. Well after i gave birth.... things changed!!!! It's been 5 weeks since i gave birth to my wonderful son. My body looks so different from before. My boobs are still big, probably 1 cup size bigger than what they were pre-pregnancy. My stomach is completely flat now but my waste is alot wider than it was. My curvy hips are gone.. & my butt is flat!!!! My body looks like a box- absolutely no shape!! :( How could this be??? I thought things were supposed to stay BIG not shrink?
did this happen to anyone else?? Why does this happen? I'm so sad. ://

  • Supposedly breast feeding takes off the weight from the upper arms and the upper hips first. There was a study in which the fat was actually monitored on breastfeeding women that my midwife told me about. You must be breastfeeding!

  • I wish, and I breastfed my daughter until she was 15 months old.

Unfortunately, I did not lose 1 lb of the baby weight even though I was breast feeding, dieting, and exercising.
