  • Just be honest with your doctor. If you think they will dismiss your feelings and pain then maybe you should think about getting another doctor if you ever get pregnant again. I can not imagine ever feeling like I couldn't be honest with my doctor. Tell them what you are feeling and go from there.

  • He will believe you. If they could feel the baby's head it probably means the baby has dropped and putting pressure on your pelvic bone. That is part of pregnancy, I would ask him about induction if you are in that much pain.

  • What you are experiencing is common in those last days. TRY TRY TRY to sleep. Tell the doctor that you are NOT sleeping. Sometimes they will give you a mild sedative to help you sleep, so that you are not so exhausted during delivery. The most important thing that you have to do is to take care of YOU right now. Your doctor, if he is good, won't dismiss your complaints. He hears the same thing from many ladies at the same situation you are in. Honestly, after having 4 kids, I can tell you that you are going to have that baby really soon. Take care of yourself!

  • Just be honest. And yes, make sure your doctor knows that the pain is so bad that you can't sleep. And if you truly haven't slept, have someone drive you. Driving while sleepy is just as bad as driving drunk.
Hand in there! You're almost through!

  • This is not the time to worry about what your doctor thinks of you. If youu're in that much pain, he or she needs to know about it. If s/he tells you that everything is normal, then you'll know that you're one of the unlucky ones who gets really uncomfortable at the end.
