Is it true???

My sister in law told me that when you breast fee you burn 500 calories on each feeding is this true???

  • it says it depends on your body type but 500 is possible but pp is right.u need to add healthy calories to your diet.

  • 500 a day, your suppose to eat 500 more a day too. i'm nursing and always starving, i eat more now then when i was pregnant! lol

    It is between 100 and 500 each day. God help us all if it were each feeding. We must stop this rumor before it is tooooooo late...

    Women would be falling all over themselves to breastfeed even if they weren't pregnant or post pardem. LOL The breast pump business would go into over drive and the price of plastic would sky rocket.....of course that would cause oil to rise ...AGAIN. And we would certainly end up in a recession ! The world would end as we know it and.....All due to our attempts to suck the fat out of our ass' ...through our breast milk! LOL

    Now....doesn't that make ya feel better. LOL
