Side dish to go with spaghetti and meatballs thats not salad?

What's a good veggie to go with your basic spaghetti and meatballs with garlic bread ? Kids aren't big salad eaters .

  • We make a really yummy green bean salad... sorry... I just had to put the "salad" part in there :D

    Heat frozen green beans until they are tepid, not hot or cold. Add chopped tomatoes and onion. Add some balsamic vinegar and olive oil. Salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste.
