how do I knit the stitch that says (wyif k 1)

  • It probably says slip 1 with yarn in front, knit 1.

  • With yarn in front knit 1. You would hold the yarn in front as if to purl and knit

  • With yarn in front. You can go to You tube to see how it is done. There is also a great group on CM Knit & crochet Moms, they are very helpful. Join great info there also.

  • lol @ tootoobusy. I, too, find myself asking others on the internet for info on many different things. I think the internet just makes it easier to figure out what you're doing, especially when you have a great group of moms that possibly have the same things going on as you. I, myself, need a visual for things in knitting most of the time, so I use hard copy books rather than asking for help with that here.
