Character limitation

I find it very difficult to answer many questions within a 1000 character limit. I am tired of making "continued" posts and hate reading them, especially when they are interrupted by another poster's post.

Why is there such a low limit especially in areas where more involved answers are required?

  • While I also like to really explore my answers and go on and on.....I do wonder who would ever read such a long answer! I do wish they would give you a warning when you are about to go over....if that is possible!
