  • I think it's different for everyone. All the websites and books will tell you that it takes 4-6 wks or so, but I felt symptoms right after conception, I'm talking like days after conception. I felt nauseous (I never get nauseous and have only ever thrown up or dry-heaved about 3 times in my life), gassy, had diarrhea and bad period-like cramps. I knew something was off, but of course, it was way to early to test. I also felt really really bloated and just off in some way. It was so frustrating knowing but not knowing at the same time!

  • I would think at the very least weeks or so. Like breast hurting, and starting on the sick thing. But as far as showing I think it is dif for everyone and depends alot on your size to.

  • I had symptoms about a week after conception, but it's not uncommon to go a month or more without noticing anything.

  • With my first I never go symptoms of pregnancy other than a missed period (which was actually not a good sign for me, since I missed a period the month before I got pregnant too).
With my second, I started getting nausea at about 5 weeks. In my case, I had a toddler and wasn't eating well enough. As soon as I started to by attention to my eating habits, I was able to somewhat control my nausea. But that is my only "classic" sign.

  • I was 3 weeks along when I first felt symptoms (started with really sore breast). I have a friend who usually does not feel symptoms till she is almost 12/13 weeks along. Everyone is different.

  • With my first, my boobs started hurting within a week of getting pregnant. They never hurt like that when I was going to start my period, so I knew I was pregnant (we had been trying..) With my 2nd, I never felt any symptoms. It even took longer to get a positive on a pregnancy test. 17 days after getting pregnant, I started feeling nauseous and took another pregnancy test and it was positive. I got a positive after 14 days with my 1st. I'm sure it's different with every pregnancy!
