We had a 24 week preemie and she got a synagis injection every month during the RSV season (Nov - Apr) since she was born. (for the last 2 years) It's supposed to help keep them from getting colds or keep it from becoming life-threatening if they do get one. Our daughter showed no neg. reactions to it other than just the normal crying etc. from any shot she would get.
She was illness-free the first two years and this is the first winter she was not approved because she has been so healthy. We'll see how it goes!
