What time do your kids start trick or treating?

Just curious when others start. Mine start about 6:30.

  • We will be going at about 5ish. We live on an air force base and we have a parade that starts at 4, after the parade is when trick or treating starts. We are going to go right away because DD is only a toddler and we don't want to be out long...after about an hour we will go home and hand out candy.

  • As soon as it gets dark. We go to a few places before that ( like my parents and the inlaws) but then start.

  • It doesn't start getting dark around here til 7, so we'll probably start getting ready then and head out around 7:30.

  • In this silly town I live in there are set times that you have to Trick or Treat...Its like 530-730. I personally think it should be later because it should be good and dark, but this town feels it should still be light out. Halloween around here is for the birds. Most people do whatever they can to discourage it...God forbid if you dress up in something scary and give someone a good "boo". There are rules about wearing masks too...no one over age 13( I think thats the age), can mask... only face paint. As my kids are getting older, Im seriously considering driving an hour and a half to Nashville or Louisville where halloween is celebrated the old fashioned way...S P OO K Y!!!!
