Does anyone know if you can use monistat while pregnant. Later today i go to the doc :)

  • I think you can as long as nothing is wrong with your cervix and stuff. I would just wait and ask at your appt later today before using it though.

  • no dont use it let your dr know today you have a yeast infection and he will decide what the best medication is for you. You never wana treat a yeast infection yourself while pregnant.

  • I used monistat while I was pregnant... I got permission from my doctor... I would ask your doctor though later on today, seeing as how your going to be going their anyhow!

  • I got one really bad with my first son and my Dr said go buy a over the counter treatment so im assuming its ok.... but i agree since you are going later today anyway i would double check

  • Yes. I had a yeast infection when I was pregnant and my doc told me to use good ole Monistat

  • I had to use it during my 2nd pregnancy. I called the Dr first but he said to only insert it 1/2 way but it should be fine. Good Luck!

  • I bought this new soap called Olay Body wash spa exfoliating ribbons thats what brought on THE YEASTY BOYS... NEVER AGAIN! LOL! :)

  • Wait until you know you have a yeast infection. You don't want to put stuff up there if you don't have to. But you can use Monistat once you know for sure you have a yeast infection.

  • I would not do anything with out dr consent. He may be okay with it but needs to know what is going on with your body.
