  • I do but it's really hard. Sometimes one isn't available. Sometimes I know it's less quality. Sometimes it's way more expensive.

  • Does the US make any products? I seriously try, but have a hard time finding them. Clothing is very hard to find made in USA but worth the duckies when you do buy them. I have always bought American cars and Dell computers. But I have no promise that the parts making up those components are not from overseas. There is alot of talk about forcing the big 3 make an electric car to rid ourselves of foreign oil dependence. Duh, the batteries used to charge the electric cars come from CHINA.

  • Yes, I buy American when possible. I also try to buy from local Mom & Pop shops when possible for certain things. The American small business owner is more important to our economy than most people think.

  • yeah, i try, but there are so many that aren't... I do try to only buy american cars, but you really can't even do that because most parts are made over seas.. well you have mostly the congress that was in office during the clintons, and obviously the clintons... they were all for most of it. and we blame bush for our economy... lmao.. yeah him and everyone in office did nothing to help either, but the real problem started before him.

I have more, if you are looking for something specifc ask me.
Of course, I can't always buy American (ie Nintendo DS for my daughter, etc)
Also, I buy Longenberger Baskets because they are American made and last forever. I have two in my front porch that have lasted the Ohio elements longer than any pot I bought at Wal Mart. So, sometimes it pays to buy quality once versus going through more than one Wal Mart china made product.
