How long do you soak pumpkin seeds for?

I know your supposed soak pumpkin seeds in salted water, but forgot for how long? We are going to carve pumpkins, and want to roast the seeds, but don't want to mess it up, it is a one shot deal,, LOL!

  • Oh! I bake them on 400 and, also, bring to a boil then lower to a simmer for 10 minutes.

  • I don't soak them. I boil them for about 10 minutes in salted water (about 1/2 teaspoon for each cup of water). Then I just put about one tablespoon of oil in a pan and bake them until they get all brown and toasty.

  • I just use kosher salt but it doesn't matter because they get salted from the water. Whatever you want to use will be ducky!

  • I soak and rinse for at least 24 hours before I bake them.
