  • Kangaroo or rattlesnake ..don't know which is more odd. They were both good though

  • Alligator is probably the strangest one I could think of. We had it on a pizza. It was pretty darn good. Tasted like sweet chicken. That sounds stupid, but true.

  • Eww! Where did you eat Nutria? I couldn't imagine lol.. I haven't really had anything too outlandish, beef heart kabobs, snake, alligator.

  • Tripe, chicken hearts, and squirrel.
    Ate all those a lot growing up - just a part of life.
    I wouldn't touch them now in a million years, though....LOL.

  • My parents' seafood restaurant sold alligator; I have tried that but didn't care for it much.
    As a former vegetarian with a squeamish tummy regarding food, I won't try "odd" meats!

  • How about octopus stew, frogs legs, or turtle soup? My one daughter had qui (?spelling) in Ecuador which is like a guinea pig. All were good, but I wouldn't attempt to make them myself.
