  • I had the same issue. I didn't go to the doc till i was 8 weeks. everything was okay, that's what they recommended anyways..plenty of women don't even know they're pregnant till then...you'll be fine.

  • most of the time, docs don't even see you till 7-9 weeks... so you should be fine until your medicaid kicks in. is there a reason you're worried about your baby not being fine? at this point they prolly woun't even be able to detect a heartbeat (it's just not visible there yet). you could try planned parenthood.

  • YOu can go to a regulare clinic and when you get you med card you take the bill to your caseworker and they'll send it to the co and they'll pay off the bill

  • uhh so you think your pregnant and your not spotting or in abdominal pain and your anxious to see a doctor to get going on your ob appointments and to take care of yourself and baby, right? if you are spotting in pain go to e r, you can't be refused. if your not spotting etc. call different hospitals social services dept. lots of hospitals have ob clinics for different income levels plus a hospital's social services dept might be able to help you get started on paperwork for care. Or look up the county you live in and their social services dept or health department for your county probably runs an ob cinic and can help you get paperwork started.

  • Go get yourself some over the counter prenatal vitamins, you should be fine to wait until 9 weeks to be seen. Honestly there isn't much they do the first visit beyond make sure the baby is in your uterus. And most doctors want to see you 6-8 weeks, so 9 isn't that far off. Eat healthy, take your prenatals, drink lots of water.. you'll be fine :) Unless you have other medications you're taking that you're worried about continuing and need medical advice -- you should be fine. Good luck! Congrats!

  • Call around to midwives offices in your area. Look for a center for health services. Many of them will see you for up to 3 months before you have insurance, then just bill them when you get it. That is what mine did.
