My daughter is usually a very happy baby but lately she has had alot of gas and is suddenly livid to say the least. Mylicon hasn't worked at all HELP!!

  • I've heard that gripe water helps. You can get it at an organic store.

  • Two other ideas are putting something warm on her tummy, like a sock filled with dry rice. Heat it up in the microwave. The other idea is to do bicycle kicks with her...move her legs back and forth and sing/make faces. Might help break up gas.

    Also look into diet changes if you are breasfeeding or if she has started solids to see if you can identify a culprit.

  • You can also put one of her recieveing blankets in the dryer to heat it up. Wrap it around her belly and tie a small knot in it , lay her on her belly and pat her. This always helped my daughter when she had gas and nothing else worked.
