Does the expiration date on vitamins really matter ?

I have decided to start taking womens one a days again - I went and found the bottle from a year ago - it has an expiration of sept 2008. Do I really need to buy a new bottle or will they still work ?

  • Vitamins start to loose potency after a while. The exp date is around the time that they will start to loose a substantial amount. They aren't harmful after that date. I wouldn't throw them out. Just take two. **If you crush them you will get a better absorbency and not have to take as much...
