Constipated 7 month old! What's best to give him....

Hi, my son seems to be on his way to constipation, he's only given me a few poops in 3 day's all are small slightly hard poops...he's on solids, and the only thing we've given him that's new is Banana's mixed with Apple Sauce, and Banana flavored pablum. I was told when my son was 2 months I could give him some corn syrup 1 tsp with his formula..I did that and it worked! So is that ok now at his age, or is that way too little to make him poop good?

  • Bananas are binding, so it can cause some constipation, more apples or pears should help even things out , karo syrup is fine at his age 1-2 tsps should still be sufficient.

  • My daughter also had the same problem, and the dr. told me to feed her a jar of the baby prunes & it cleaned her out pretty quickly.
