Anyone like this name, even a little bit?

Does anyone like the name Gretchen? I'm not planning on naming a baby this or am I recommending it. But I just love the sound!!!

  • I had a friend named Gretchen. She grew up in a nudest colony. LOL She was a bit odd.

  • i LOVE this name. ive heard it only once when an american pronounced it. it was alright. but i know how to pronounce it in german and its the cutest name ive ever heard ;)

  • I tend to associate it with my cousins dog, who is named Gretchen. Sorry. If I don't think about the Irish Setter Gretchen, then yeah I think it's kinda cute.

  • I don't know, it sounds kinda harsh. But I've never liked the "ch" sound in a name, like Rachel.
