  • my friend had the same problem with her daughter she would make herself sick if she tried giving her anything but the boob she was 7 mos well she ended up just giving her table food and eventually she wanted a sippy cup with juice or water but still no milk and now she just breastfeeds at night and in the morning just so she gets that nutrients im not sure if youare willing to try that but it worked for her so i thought id throw it out there if you get desperate enough like she did good luck

  • you can always try pumping but most babies are going to reject the bottle at first you just cant give up once she starts taking the bottle you can start to supliment with formula start with a few oz of breat milk then give her some formula untill she is full hope this helps a little

  • Start out mixing your breast milk (75%) with regular milk (25%) or 80/20. Little by little as your child accepts it, lessen your milk percentage and add more of the regular milk. For example: 75/25,50/50,25/75,0/100 and see if that helps.

  • Maybe pump for her and slowly mix in either formula or milk. She may still need that closeness that she can only get from nursing. Try giving her a bottle or sippy cup and hold her nice and close. Make sure you are still interacting with her in the same way that you do when you are nursing. Good Luck!

  • Playtex nursing bottles with the short nipple, rub breastmilk on the nipple (for the smell) and start deluting with the other milk. Start off slowly so not to cause stomach upset. Every three to four days add more of the new milk and less breast milk and before long she will be on the other milk =)
