  • What do you mean by rectifying it with the Bible?? Adam and Eve could have had a nice cave.... I don't see them building a house the day they were banished from the garden and they would have needed shelter right??? Why not a cave??

  • Max Lucado came up with a very good hypothesis of where cavemen originated and it makes so much sense. It goes back to the tower of babel and its fall. All the people scattered and spoke other languages. There must have been some with downsyndrome or other malformedies who did not have skills to build houses or function in society but would be shunned. They could have banded together like goes to like. What do you think???

  • The first proto-Neanderthal traits appear in Europe as early as 350,000 years ago [1], by 130,000 years ago, full blown Neanderthal characteristics had appeared and by 50,000 years ago, Neanderthals disappeared from Europe, although they continued in Asia to 30,000 years ago.
The Cro-Magnons form the earliest known European examples of Homo sapiens, from ca. 40,000 years ago, descending from Y haplogroup F / mt haplogroup N populations of the Middle East.
The Paleolithic or Palaeolithic was the first period in the development of human technology of the Stone Age. It began with the introduction of the first stone tools by hominids such as Homo habilis (around 2,000,000 years ago) and lasted until the introduction of agriculture. It ended with the Mesolithic, or in areas with an early neolithisation, the Epipaleolithic.

  • I think it's a possibility motivesmom. I found an article that was interesting talking about how b/c of evolution we tend to think cavemen were primative, but that's not necessarily true. It talked about ppl who live in caves today in certain countries. It also talked about all the drawings and stuff they did, some with hats and clothes on. I think the Tower of Babel could have played a very big part in it though.
