  • You won't be able to pump anything until after the baby is born and your milk comes in. All you will have before that is colostrum (which the baby will need at first, but not for very long).

  • Pump whenever you can. You can freeze your milk.

  • Oops, didn't realize you were pregnant now. Don't pump until after the baby's born.

  • Once your milk comes in, after your baby is born, pump as much as you can. Freeze the milk in those milk storage bags, date it & put how many ozs are in the bag. The more you pump, the more milk your body will produce.

  • Pump as soon as you start feeding him/her. The doctors say wait a few weeks until your body knows how much milk your baby needs, but then you wouldnt have enough left over. I pumped a bit b4 she ate, and after. I had enough to where I could pump an entire feeding for storage. And Drink Plenty of fluids. Im talking you will be drinking all the time. and it doesnt have to be milk either, water and juice is good too. And you dont have to watch what you eat much. And if your breastfeeding you can still drink Alcohol, just make sure you have a bottle already made for the next feeding and throw out what you pump later.
