my dog ate my sons ear drops Ofloxacin .. is this posionsous

i called animal posions control cuz the emergancey vet didnt know but they want 60 bucks.. ridiculous..
i googled it but found nothin.. does anyone know?

  • What I would do is keep a close eye on your dog for any abnormal signs and call your vet first thing this morning.

    The pharmacy of where you got the prescription filled should also be able to help...probably even more than the vet because they'd probably know better.

  • When I googled all I could find was studies where they had given the med to dogs, so I am thinking that it isn't poisonous, although if the dog gets enough it might be. So call the vet and be ready to tell them how much the dog ate.
