  • Most scalloped potato recipes only require potatoes, onions, milk, butter, salt & pepper. Switch your milk to skim, use low-fat butter, and try a salt-free seasoning blend instead. Now I'm hungry!

  • Another good variation of the standard scalloped potato recipe above from KDW211, saute the onions in a small amout of butter and place between the layers of the potatoes, wonderful flavoring.

    Sometimes instead of using the milk and flour to thicken it, I use a can of cream of chicken soup
    with enough canned milk to thin it out.
