  • Mine is an easy recipe, but a great standby! And somewhat healthy too. I like to take some smoked sausage (I prefer turkey kielbasa or John Morrell "Naturals" beef smoked sausage) , chop it into 1/2" cubes, brown it in a skillet. Add canned kidney beans undrained, and cajun seasoning to taste. Heat it through and serve over rice. We normally serve it over white rice but sometimes we have it with a box of zatarains jambalaya rice. My kids are picky and they all love it. Oh and we normally serve it with some corn on the cob to have a vegetable.
