I have a lot of milk in my breast.

They leak constantly. I am 37 weeks pregnant does anyone know if its okay to pump already. And I thought you didn't get milk produced till baby was born?

  • your breasts start producing milk when you are only a few months along. they are preparing for the baby very early sometimes.

not sure if you should pump it already though. i wouldnt. just use some nursing pads.

  • Don't pump. It is colostrum which your baby needs right after birth. Once they start nursing then your milk will come in. If you pump, then your baby won't get that first milk that is easy on their stomach and full of all the antibodies that they need.

  • its not milk it's colotrum and your boobs are gonna leak during pregnancy..if you start pumping, you could cause yourself to go into labor..your milk doesnt come in till about 3 days After baby is born.

  • Please, please, please do NOT pump yet. Use breast pads to catch the leaking. Be glad that your body is getting ready, you will most likely have successful breastfeeding!
