  • My little one is 9 months and has been using one since I saw him sit up on his own which was about 2 months ago

  • we had one of those fabric things that went into the highchair but we waited until she could sit up by herself and then started her in that. We used her bumbo in the beginning because it has more support.

  • We used the Bumbo to sit her with us while we ate before she started solid foods. When she started solids at 6 months, she used her high chair. She was sitting by herself at 4.5 months, though.

  • She sat in her Bumbo to eat with me until she started eating at 6 months then she moved into her highchair.

  • Mine was using her high chair at 4 months - when we started solids under doctor's orders for reflux.
We didn't even use a proper high chair. We got the Fisher Price booster seat that straps onto a kitchen chair. It's the only high chair we ever used with her and we used it until she was big enough to use the kitchen chair on her own... about 25 months.

  • We used a bumbo until around 7-8 months when she was sitting independently, but rarely used her high chair until recently as she has been almost exclusively breast fed until now. She is 11 months and is now starting to dabble in finger foods.
