  • I always heard you were supposed to avoid tanning while pregnant. It can raise your body temperature which can be harmful to the baby. Some states even ban pregnant women from using tanning beds, so you'd need to check into that.

  • Definately not a good idea, it raises your body temp too much, which is dangerous for the baby. If you want a tan you can do those spray on ones. (some are good, some are orange so be carefull!!!)

  • ok, thanks!! i know i am 19 and have to give up so many things. i guess in some ways it's all helping me becuase now i can't smoke, tan, drink, etc. i never did a spray tan i was always afraid i would get orange, anyone know of some good places to get a spray tan??

  • Do you have Mystic Tan there? I know they're popular in Minnesota...definitely avoid the lamps, though!

  • I would say call your tanning place and see if they can direct you to a good spray tanner.
