Do you usually make one or two sides with dinner?

  • we usually have a meat, a startch type (wild rice, couscous, pasta, etc) a veggie, a fresh salad-ALWAYS, and a bread..

  • 2-3, and since we are watching carbs, and since we are to get 5-9 fruit and vegetable servings a day, I'll have brocolli or carrots, a big green salad, and fruit.

  • We only have carbs with dinner twice a week (when we're being good), we'll have two veggies usually and sometimes a salad also.

  • dinner is usually a meat... a side of veggies. usually that fills my plate LOL and a huge salad... more veggies.. im actually a carboholic.... lol but i try to limit them, seeing as how now i know where the extra weight is from and caused by... im not diabetic, but i am on diabetic meds... finally... an answer... if i had my way i'd eat rice, and potatos in the same meal LOL

  • 2 or 3 if its a salad to which is 3 times a week. most of the time its my hubbys choice since he is doing most of cooking. Tonight though i am cooking and its going to be spicy and tangy baked chicken, baked mac and cheese, and some criss cross fries for him! Just need him to bring home a salad lol.
