How do I take care of my baby's first teeth?

My son is my first baby so bare with me on the silly questions. When did you start brushing your baby's teeth. He has two bottom teeth just coming in. Do I need to brush them and how? When do I? He still wants nighttime feedings and I'm afraid the formula will hurt his teeth. Should I stop feeding bottles at night? His doctor said to cut out night bottles by nine months but I'm afraid of his teeth.

  • awww new teeth are so much fun. Um. my daughters grandfather happens to be a dentist so i can kinda tell you what you should do, because i myself have asked him. If your baby still needs a night time bottle do not cut it out all together, you just need to make sure you are cleaning his teeth with a baby toothbrush at least 2 times a day. If your son will take water in his bottle at night, then i would suggest that. But yeah, i would get a baby tooth brush, and start brushing them now. Early dental care at at early age is very important. Good luck!
