  • no he's not fat lol. :) Don't worry. As long as you aren't feeding him soda and candy lol. If he's eating breastmilk/formula as the main staple of his diet, he's developing normally.

For teething I have always used Hylands Teething Tablets. They dissolve super quick and are awesome!

  • Thats what my 6month old is... no worries! Just a quick growing healthy baby is all... shes just as tall to so I know shes just fast growing. Everyone tells me there baby was big until they started calling and then thinned out. But babies who are big tend to crawl and things later then average sized babies because their muscles don't have enough time to grow with them... but its not a bad thing.

  • who cares what people think...babies are babies some are bigger than others...most of them grow out of it...I hate when people make stupid comments about my son being chunky or how he can miss a son is almost 5 mos and still wears some 0-3 month clothes.

  • I think about average. But it depends on how tall they are on how "fat" they look too. So if you have a short little man he might look chunkier. My son is about 20 lbs and 28 inches and is almost 6 months.. he wears 6-9 month pants.

As far as teething- hylands teething tablets... and if he is really fussy you could try some Tylenol if you like. But if I give my son Tylenol it's only before bed to help him sleep better if his mouth his really bugging him. During the day you can do cool wet wash clothes (don't freeze them it can hurt their mouth)

  • My daughter just had her 4 month check up. And weighed in at 14 lb which is in the 95th percentile. Up from the 25th percentile 2 months ago. Doctor said no worries babies can't gain too much at this age. So don't worry. It just means they aren't missing any meals.LOL
