  • Ham on pizza, with pineapple if you like. You can get a reasonable pizza crust and make it at home and the kids really eat it up when they make it themselves.
Diced ham with peas in fettucini alfredo. . .

  • Scalloped potatoes! Butter a casserole dish. Layer thin sliced potatoes with a bit of flour, salt & pepper, and the ham. Pour milk just to the top of the potatoes but not covering completely, and put into the oven at 350*f until the potatoes are tender and the sauce has thickened somewhat. Simple and tasty!

Another thing to do is barbecued ham sandwiches...best on toasted potato rolls. Butter the rolls and put flat side down on a hot skillet for a couple of min, until toasted. If the ham isn't already sliced, slice it. Heat in the skillet with your favorite bbq sauce until hot all through and put on the toasted rolls. Add cheese if you like.

  • Fix a package of wild rice and lay the cooked rice in a baking pan. Layer on the following: a 10 oz pkg frozen chopped broccoli (thawed), 1 cup cubed ham, 1 c cubed chicken, 1c shredded cheddar, 4oz can sliced mushrooms. In a bowl mix 3/4 c mayonnaise, 1 can of cream of mushroom soup, 1t prepared mustard, 1/2t curry powder. Mix together and spread on the top. Sprinkle on grated parmesan cheese. Bake at 350 for 45-60 mins til the topping is golden brown.

This is SOOOOOOOoooo yummy I make it every time I have leftover ham. You can omit the chicken and it's just as yummy. (if I leave out the chicken I'll double up on the ham chunks.)
