For those that eat meat-

If you knew without a doubt the meat you ate came from the body of an animal that was brutally tortured daily, would you continue to eat meat knowing that you are contributing to the suffering of innocent animals?

  • What factory farms do to veal is evil. I do not eat meat due to the cruelty involved and the potential for foodborne illness.

  • Nope. I much prefer chicken, free range chicken. If I knew that an animal was tortured I don't think I could do it. Hence the reason I can't eat veal!

  • It's sad to think of any animal suffering. However, I think the brutal slaughter of innocent babies is even worse.

  • Yes I eat meat. At this point in history, animals are meant to be food for us. God said we are free to eat anything we want.

  • I worked at a hog confinement! Did I always agree with how things went down no!! But I do believe God gave us dominion over them for a reason. So no I don't agree with torture but I do like a good steak!!

  • Yes I am prolife. AND, I am totally against animal suffering. But Animals are animals, not humans and they are on the earth for many uses, one being a food resourse.

  • Honestly?

Probably. Now, if I SAW the animal tortured, I most likely would not be able to eat it. I don't really get into the whole "animals are people, too!" argument. Call me cruel, whatever, I like my steak.

  • I do not consider animals people, but, when there is an animal halocaust going on and animals are routinely tortured for no just reason, I see an issue with it. Fine, they are a food product, but, treat them humanely!
