  • I'm 31 and have gained about 24 lbs, but I was 10 lbs. underweight and it's all in my stomach (and thigh area). I hope not to gain too much more, but even tho. my diet stays the same and I'm exercising, I don't think there's anything I can do, the lbs. keep coming!

  • At the birth of my last child I haven't gained a single pound. It depends on the woman. My baby was perfectly healthy at 7 pounds 8 ounces.

  • I gained 7 lbs the entire tiem I ws pregnant with my oldest and did not gain more than 10 until my last weeks of pregancy with my youngest. As long as there are no growth or weight concerns for you or the baby and your doctor is not concerned, don't sweat it!

  • i think it is norm to gain more, how much does the baby weigh on the ultra sound, that is all that matters.

  • 1st baby I gained 25 lbs total. 2nd I gained 6lbs total. 3rd I gained 10lbs total. 4th I gained 6lbs total. 5th I gained 8lbs total. My smallest baby was 7lbs 7oz. My largest was 9lbs 10 oz. If you feel good and you aren't anemic, you're fine. That 1st baby my dr kept urging me to gain, gain and it just made me fat. I ate to my satisfaction with the others and I had healthy babies with healthy weights, I just had less to lose later. Good luck!!
