  • my son rolled over for the first time when he was 6 weeks, though he got really good at around 3 months.. now he is 5 months and crawling like a bandit! he also has a big brother that he is trying to keep up with!

  • LOL, gender doesn't matter.

My first rolled at 6 weeks. Other rolled at 7 months. It just varies by the child...not the gender.

  • My son first did it at about 3 1/2 months. He's 5 months now and can do it really well, he's just a little stubborn!

  • I was going to say gender has nothing to do with it ;) some boys roll soon some don't some girls roll sooner and some don't anywhere from 3-6 months usually

  • All of my boys rolled both ways before 3 months.

All of my nieces rolled both ways before 3 months.

  • It's not a gender issue, it's a baby issue. :)

My son rolled completely (arms out of the way) at about three months, back to front and then front to back right afterwards. I mention the arms thing because he was able to get most of the way over MUCH earlier, but I didn't count this as rolling because he wasn't completely over...maybe I should have, lol!

  • Wow, my son must be lazy LOL He is 21 weeks and moves in circles and arches his back all the time, but just hasn't gotten over. All babies are different. And if they are heavier, it takes them longer to do those mobile things. Because when our son was within the first 2 months he rolled up onto his side all the time, then when he gained more weight he couldn't do it any longer. But we roll him over all the time so he understands. They get it when they get it
