give me 5 restaurants that offer the best hands down. I'm from chicago and I would recommend by far harray caray's, gibsons, mcarthur's,schoops and olive garden. I know there are many more great restaurants, but these are by far my favorites and one's I would recommend to anyone coming to chicago.

  • We live out in the boonies---we only have a couple good places to eat and all the fast food you could ask for. We go to The Ram when we want a steak dinner, of Black Angus.

  • What? A Chicago native failed to add Gino's pizza to the list? My city is known as the chicken capital so you would have to visit at least one of these chicken places: Belgrade Gardens, White House Chicken, Milich's Village Inn. (we have more but these three are the best). I would also recommend Angie's Pizza, David B's, Hodges, and Green Diamond. Wow. I just realized we have way more restaraunts that I could have suggested!

  • Hrmm. I live in the Austin, TX area. I think I'd offer the following:

    Eddie V's - upscale seafood

Either the Salt Lick in Driftwood or Black's in Lockhart for bbq

Trudy's (campus location) for TexMex & Mexican Martinis

Magnolia Cafe - breakfast at 2am

Oasis - for drinks and appetizers at sunset. I can't recommend the food, but the view is unbeatable.
