neck pain?

I pulled my neck.. and am having difficultly moving it.. and it's only getting worse... tried a hot bath, heating pad, icy hot, asprin... anyone got any other suggestions to getting rid of, or dulling, the pain...?

  • First use only ice. It is for acute pain. Then in 24 hours, use ice for 15 mintues, heat for the next 15 mintues and keep on doing that for the next 24 hours. After time, it should get better. I know, I have had chronic neck pain for 10 years. Yes, I can pretty much anything but this advise is also coming from not just me but from my phyically tharaphist. Never use heat on acute pain. Best of luck! Also, use Advil instead if you really need to. Asprin is not strong enough for the pain.
