  • There are bunches of good books for the child. Just about any one will work.
We like the Elmo potty training video and one called Go Potty Go.
And I like "The No-Cry Potty Training Solution" book.
Make sure you read the reviews at Amazon when picking a potty. Some potties are good for boys, some girls, some both.

  • my only advice is to not get a training potty that gives rewards, and dont give presents to them for doing it, just give vocal praises to them... i am having the hardest time training my son now, because he expects something in return each time and will go into the bathroom, sit on the potty and wait for a sticker or toy... so i would recommend not doing that..
