Has anyone had any luck preventing stretch marks even if they are genetic?

  • i used burts bees belly butter from day one twice a day and not a single stretch mark! woo hoo! I loved that stuff. Although its not in my genes but I did gain 40 pounds (lost it all) so I was big but i think that it helped.

  • with my 1st pregnancy, i used cocoa butter constantly. i have no stretch marks. my stomach went completely back to norm. i havent used anything this pregnancy and still no stretch marks.
    my mother and sister both had horrible stretch marks. my sister used cocoa butter as well, but it didnt seem to help. i also didnt get nearly as big as alot of people i knew who were pregnant.

  • I have used cocoa butter and oil constantly. I am always lubed up. I don't have a stretch mark yet and I am due in a month. My sister and mother all have horrible stretch marks, but none for me. They are so mad at me. good luck.

  • man not me! i used that jergans lotion with the pregnant lady on the front every day and i didnt get any stretchmarks...till the end! i got a ton! alot of the ones in my inner thighs i think were from laboring becuse i really swelled up when i went into labor.

  • I went 7 months without any stretch marks then the last two months they came. You cant get rid of them but the color will lighten up alot with time.
