  • I am very thankful that all my inlaws are kind, considerate, not overbearing or demanding in any way at all. Sorry yours are crazy ones cause that can only add to the 'normal' stress of the holiday.

  • Ugh. I have to go on a three-four hour road trip to DH's dads... with my loser BIL. We will be overnight and basically I will be around him 48 hours. He is an annoying drunk, pity-party-having, lives-off-his-mom, won't get a job.... etc. etc.

  • I always dread going to my SIL's around Christmas time, but its not too bad. I just don't like her, she is very rude.

  • MIL has just been seriously OVERBEARING since the baby was born last week. Not looking forward to her visit at all. She's coming out a few days after Christmas. I don't remember her being this overbearing with my first. Of course, she came out days after my first was born, which was a disaster in itself. We made her actually wait a few weeks with this one. The other night, she called at dinner time. We didn't answer because we were eating dinner, naturally. We got busy after dinner, and forgot to call her back. So what does she do? She calls at 10 pm. WAY TOO LATE. Her excuse? "You didn't answer, I got worried. Is everyone okay?" Keep in mind, we have a newborn, and I had a c-section. This was only 2 or 3 days after getting out of the hospital. Hopefully she'll calm down a bit after her visit. Cause the every night calls are getting on my nerves.

  • I also forgot to mention, on top of the every day calls, she's sending me facebook messages several times a day. And I'm talking nonsense messages, not your typical "how are you?" messages. And she's leaving weird nonsense comments on pictures, posts, etc. as well. Put it all together, and you get overbearing. Ugh.
