: 1 pound ground meat (I use sausage)
: 16 oz shredded mozzarella cheese (I use a bit more)
: 1/4-1/2 cup chopped onion
: 1/4 cup chopped green peppers
: 1 pack sliced pepperoni
: 2/3 of a box rigatoni noodles cooked
: 1 can mushrooms or fresh
: 2 jars pizza sauce about 12 to 16 ozs each
Layer the ingredients in a buttered crock pot as follows: meat, noodles, cheese, sauce, mushrooms, onions, peppers, pepperoni and sauce. Ending with cheese. Cover and cook on LOW for about 3-4 hours you are just heating it through.
I add whatever toppings I happen to have on hand at the time. Anything you like on your pizza would work. And I make some bread-sticks in the oven and a side salad.
